Gonzaga beats Bishop Ireton 65-48

Gonzaga’s Chris Lykes led all scorers with 20 points as the Eagles beat Bishop Ireton 65-48 in a game at Gonzaga College High School.”

Lykes’ points came on 6 field goals, 2 three pointers and 2 of 3 free throws during the game.

Bishop Ireton was led by Darius Hines’ 27 points and Ethan Lynch added 7. Bishop Ireton fell to 0-1 overall while Gonzaga improved their record to 2-0.

Bishop Ireton’s next game is scheduled to be played at home on Friday Feb. 17 at 7:30pm versus Gonzaga. Gonzaga will host Dematha on Tuesday Jan. 24 at 7:30pm.
