Gonzaga edges St Maria Goretti 77-74

Gonzaga’s Chris Lykes led all scorers with 31 points as the Eagles beat St Maria Goretti 77-74 in a game at Frostburg State University.”

Lykes’ points came on 3 field goals, 4 three pointers and 13 of 14 free throws during the game.

St Maria Goretti was led by Jake Kuhn’s 27 points and Elijah Clarance added 22. St Maria Goretti fell to 0-1 overall while Gonzaga improved their record to 16-1.

Gonzaga will host Mount St. Joseph on Saturday Mar. 11 at 8:30pm.
