Gonzaga Eagles edges St. John's Cadets 56-53 in District Of Columbia high school basketball game

Gonzaga’s Anwar Gill led the way with 19 points as the Eagles beat <a href=’/basketball/teams/135946-st-johns-cadets’ alt=’St. John’s Cadets’> St. John’s Cadets</a> 56-53 in a game.

Gill’s points came on 6 field goals, 2 three pointers and 1 of 2 free throws during the game.

Darius Maddox added 18. St. John’s fell to 0-1 overall while Gonzaga improved their record to 4-1.

Gonzaga will host St. Mary’s Ryken on Friday Dec. 21 at 4:30pm.
