Fairfax’s Shawn Booker led all scorers with 23 points as the Lions beat Rainier Beach 71-55 in a game at Iolani HS.”

Booker’s points came on 5 field goals, 4 three pointers and 1 of 2 free throws during the game.

Rainier Beach was led by Trevante Anderson’s 22 points and Kevin Porter Jr. added 14. Rainier Beach fell to 4-0 overall while Fairfax improved their record to 7-1.

Rainier Beach’s next game is scheduled to be played at home on Tuesday Jan. 2 at 7:00pm versus Bishop Blanchet. Fairfax will host University on Monday Jan. 8 at 5:30pm.
