Rainier Beach Guard Kevin Porter Jr. led all scorers with 29 points as the Vikings beat Franklin 92-84 in a game at franklin high school .”

Porter Jr.’s points came on 7 field goals, 4 three pointers and 3 of 3 free throws during the game.

Franklin was led by Javion Garrett’s 21 points and Maurice Barnett added 20. Franklin fell to 10-2 overall while Rainier Beach improved their record to 8-2.

Franklin’s next game is scheduled to be played at home on Tuesday Jan. 9 at 7:30pm versus Nathan Hale. Rainier Beach will host Garfield on Friday Jan. 12 at 7:00pm.
