Royal crushes Ellensburg 42-0

QB Sawyer Jenks picked up 192 passing yards and threw for 3 touchdowns to help Royal to a 42-0 win over Ellensburg on Friday night at EHS Stadium.

The Knights also recieved vital efforts from RB C.J. Quintero who rushed 2 times for 85 yards and 2 touchdowns and RB Alonso Hernandez who rushed 17 times for 81 yards and 1 touchdown.

Ellensburg’s QB Brady Helgeson threw for 4 yards, RB Riley Mace picked up 10 rushing yards and WR Trace Townsend had 10 receiving yards.

With the loss, Ellensburg falls to 0-1 on the season. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.

Ellensburg will face off against the Connell Eagles at home on Monday September 11 at 7:00pm. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
