Royal defeats Meridian 33-27

QB Sawyer Jenks had 186 passing yards and threw for 1 touchdown to guide Royal to a 33-27 win over Meridian on Saturday night at Tacoma Dome.

The Knights also recieved crucial efforts from WR Corbin Christensen who caught 9 passes for 95 yards and 1 touchdown and RB Alonso Hernandez who rushed 24 times for 138 yards and 3 touchdowns.

Meridian’s Antonio Silliman jr threw for 267 yards and 2 touchdowns and Xavier Curry had 104 receiving yards and 1 touchdown.

The win helps Royal improve to 14-0 on the season. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.
