Toppenish beats Selah 24-15

Keyano Zamarripa picked up 178 passing yards to lead Toppenish to a 24-15 win over Selah on Friday night.

The Wildcats also received key efforts from Christopher Grant who caught 3 passes for 104 yards and Manuel Felan who caught 5 passes for 46 yards.

Selah’s QB Heath Yochum threw for 192 yards, RB Jake Weber picked up 48 rushing yards and 1 touchdown and WR Andrew Hall had 81 receiving yards and 2 touchdowns.

With the loss, Selah falls to 3-2 on the season. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.

Toppenish will take on the Zillah Leopards at home on Friday October 19 at 7:00pm. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.

Selah travels to Wapato, WA to challenge the Wapato Wolves on Friday October 5 at 7:00pm. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
