Royal cruises by Connell 42-0

QB Sawyer Jenks picked up 199 passing yards and threw for 4 touchdowns to help Royal to a 42-0 win over Connell on Friday night at David Nielsen Memorial Field.

The Knights also received major efforts from RB Alonso Hernandez who rushed 17 times for 141 yards and 1 touchdown and WR Angel Farias Ramos who caught 4 passes for 120 yards and 2 touchdowns.

Connell’s QB Austin Smith threw for 36 yards, Hunter Matheny picked up 33 rushing yards and WR Payton Riner had 36 receiving yards.

The win helps Royal improve to 5-0 on the season. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.

Royal travels to Benton City, WA to take on the Kiona-Benton Bears on Friday October 12 at 7:00pm. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
