Chewelah’s Bailey Smith led all scorers with 15 points as the Cougars beat Freeman 43-42 in a game at Freeman HS .”

Smith’s points came on 5 field goals, 1 three pointer and 2 of 2 free throws during the game.

Freeman was led by jordyn goldsmith’s 8 points and Isabelle miller added 8. Freeman fell to 6-6 overall while Chewelah improved their record to 6-4.

Freeman’s next game is scheduled to be played at Newport HS on Tuesday Jan. 16 at 5:45pm versus Newport. Chewelah will travel to on Tuesday Jan. 16 at 6:00pm to play Lakeside.
