Freeman Forward Jordyn Goldsmith led the way with 13 points as the Scotties beat Newport Grizzlies 62-45 in a game.

Goldsmith’s points came on 5 field goals and 3 of 4 free throws during the game.

Alika Robinson added 8. Newport fell to 2-13 overall while Freeman improved their record to 12-5.

Newport’s next game is scheduled to be played at on Saturday Jan. 19 at 5:30pm versus Freeman. Freeman will host Colville on Tuesday Jan. 22 at 5:30pm.
