Dunbar Bulldogs edges John Adams Falcons 44-39 in West Virginia middle school basketball game

Dunbar’s Maliha Witten led the way with 16 points as the Bulldogs beat John Adams Falcons 44-39 in a game at Sissonville Middle School.

Witten’s points came on 3 field goals, 1 three pointer and 7 of 10 free throws during the game.

Mary Lyle Smith added 9. John Adams fell to 2-1 overall while Dunbar improved their record to 3-0.

John Adams’ next game is scheduled to be played at home on Monday Nov. 27 at 4:00pm versus Charleston Catholic. Dunbar will travel to John Adams Middle School on Thursday Dec. 7 at 4:00pm to play John Adams.
