RICHARDSON, Texas – Fueled by a monster performance by five-star senior guard Cason Wallace, the Richardson Eagles fended off Lake Highlands for an 84-78 win to clinch the District 7-6A championship, the program's third straight district title, and improve to 29-1 overall Friday night at Richardson High School.

In the photo above, Wallace — a Kentucky commit and McDonald's All-American — sprints past a defender. He finished with a team-high 33 points, five steals, four rebounds and four assists, while Lake Highlands' Tre Johnson tallied a game-high 39 points.

Richardson also holds the No. 6 ranking in the SBLive/SI Power 25 national high school basketball rankings.
