Riley Reed and Brayden Walters accounted for seven touchdowns to lead Gordon to a 70-20 rout over Westbrook on Wednesday afternoon in the Texas (UIL) 1-A Six-Man Division 1 state football championship game at AT&T Stadium.

Reed rushed for a team-high 100 yards on five carries and scored touchdowns on runs of 14, 3 and 74 yards as well as he returned an interception 65 yards for a score.

Walters had two receiving touchdowns covering 10 and 43 yards and he scored on a 10-yard run. He finished with four catches for a team-high 63 yards.

The Longhorns (15-0) scored 32 points in each of the first two quarters.

Keegan Gilbreath led Westbrook (13-2) with a game-high 133 yards rushing and scored on a 46-yard run.

It marks Gordon's first state football title since 1999 and third in program history.
