Look: Rock-solid Camas continues its 4A GSHL supremacy over Skyview
CAMAS, Wash. - Jake Davidson threw a touchdown pass and set up another with a perfect dime, the Camas offensive line took over in the second half, and the Camas defense was lights out all night Friday as the No. 9 Papermakers knocked off No. 2 Skyview, 21-9, at Doc Harris Stadium.
The Camas defense held Skyview, a team that was averaging more than 42 points a game, to one touchdown - and that came in the game’s final minutes.
Davidson was an efficient 11 for 15 or 138 yards and a touchdown pass.
Titan Brody and Beau Harlan combined to rush for 141 yards. Harlan had two Camas touchdowns.
Camas improved to 6-1, and more importantly for the Papermakers, opened the 4A GSHL schedule with a victory.
Skyview, seemingly always in the top 10 in the state year after year, has not been able to find a way to beat its Clark County rival. This was the 13th consecutive victory for Camas in the series.
