2 Dodgers Free Agents Could Find New Homes Soon

This would be a tough goodbye for a second time.

In a recent article by The New York Post's Jon Heyman, he talked about two former Dodgers potentially going elsewhere. He mentioned that the Angels have shown interest in Amed Rosario and Kiké Hernández.

"But they are also looking at depth pieces and are said to be considering former Met Amed Rosario, Kiké Hernandez..."

Per Jon Heyman of The NY Post

It appears the Dodgers have their positional players locked up heading into the season. Los Angeles has their starters in place with bench players Chris Taylor, Manuel Margot and Miguel Rojas backing up their respective positions.

So, a reunion with Hernández or Rosario seems very unlikely.

The Angels, on the other hand, need help all over the diamond. They could use a fourth outfielder, infield depth and quality bats off the bench.

The Halos could provide Hernández with regular playing time. He could be their fourth outfielder and still roam the infield when needed.

Currently, the Angels have 23-year-old Zach Neto as their everyday shortstop. A quality veteran like Amed Rosario could help bring along the young Neto.

The Dodgers committed over $1 billion this offseason to shore up the roster with as many great players as possible. Watching fan-favorite players walk away for a second time is just the price of doing business.
