The Dodgers and the Padres meeting up to renew the NL West rivalry is always a good (and stressful) time for fans. For one Dodger fan, it's a little bit more than that.

There's money on the line.

Back in 2019, Twitter user @MosheL451 was seated close to the visiting on deck circle at Dodger Stadium where he got into an exchange with San Diego slugger, and former Dodger, Manny Machado about the two club's future success.

Moshe bet Manny that the Dodgers would win a World Series before the Padres did. Machado accepted the bet and put stakes on the line. He bed Moshe his recently signed $300 million contract that the Padres would bring home the championship before LA.

Here's that clip.

The conversation went viral back then. And, after the Dodgers brought home the title in 2020, it resurfaced in a big way. Machado said he didn't remember anything about it... conveniently.

On Sunday, Moshe was back at Petco Park and he came to collect.

"Hey Manny! You made a bet for your contract four years ago. Where's my $300 million? You bet your contract, it's time to pay up. Should we count the extension also? That's right, we won in 2020, where's my money?"

It's clear that Machado heard the fan loud and clear. He turned and stared before turning back and moving away from the seats a few steps.

Chances are high that Manny won't be a man of his word and pays up his debt, but he's got 10 more seasons in San Diego to have a change of heart.
