If there's one thing Dave Roberts loves doing more than anything with media it's holding on to information for no reason. On Friday, the Dodgers manager announced the first four starting pitchers to open the season. He also told reporters that the team had made a decision on who the fifth starter will be but opted to hold on to that information.

First, who are the first four?

Julio Urias will start on opening day (night) at Dodger Stadium and will be followed by right-hander Dustin May. Clayton Kershaw gets game three and Noah Syndergaard starts game four.

Then the decision is down to rookies Ryan Pepiot and Michael Grove. More than likely Pepiot will be the guy who will fill in for the injured Tony Gonsolin for a few weeks, but to Roberts, that's a big decision to reveal.

I guess this is all for the sake of creating any excitement out of the last couple of meaningless games in Arizona. The Dodgers will play two more games at Camelback Ranch before heading home to LA to face the Angels for the annual freeway series. Game one will be at Dodger Stadium and games two and three at Angel Stadium of Anaheim. Then, it's mercifully time for opening day on Thursday.

Until then, bask in the mystery that is who the fifth will be.
