The Dodgers' All-Stars had their moment to shine in an exciting Midsummer Classic, leaving fans entertained and craving for more. Mookie Betts, Freddie Freeman, J.D. Martinez, and Will Smith showcased their skills and provided memorable mic'd up moments.

Freddie Freeman displayed his defensive prowess at first base while also drawing a walk. His mic'd up inning with teammate Mookie Betts allowed viewers to get closer to the action and witness the duo's legendary friendship in real time.

Mic'd Up Moment

Betts took center stage, quite literally, as he played center field for the first time this season. Though he went 0-for-2 at the plate, his mic'd up moments brought joy and laughter to fans, thanks to his interactions with not only Freddie but also Dodgers play-by-play man and FOX number one broadcaster Joe Davis.

DH J.D. Martinez made his presence felt most among Dodgers participants, going 2-for-2 with a single, a double, and scoring the National League's first run of the game.

Catcher Will Smith may have gone hitless in his lone at-bat, but he did draw a walk and steal a base off old friend Kenley Jansen. Will also caught another former Dodger closer, Craig Kimbrel, who earned the save to give the NL its first All-Star game win since 2012.

With the midsummer classic now in the rearview mirror, the Dodgers will enjoy a well-deserved break before entering the second half of the season. Sitting atop the NL West, the team is in the driver's seat to battle for another pennant through the dog days of summer.

Also, the trade deadline is less than three weeks away.
