The Dodgers have had one of its worse bullpens in franchise history up to this point of the season. They have the fifth worst ERA in the league and fourth most runs given up.

Fortunaelty for the team, the bullpen looks like its turning it around. In the past six games the bullpen has thrown only given up one earned run and has an ERA of 0.34.

In the six games since the Dodgers have started getting hot again, they are 4-2 and only a couple games back in the divisional race.

According to one Dodgers broadcaster, he believes that the worst of the teams bullpen is behind them.

In an interview with Dodgers Nation, Spectrum Sportsnet announcer, Jose Mota thinks that the team is turning around its season for good.

He says that with the trade deadline coming up, relief pitchers have added pressure to perform well at their jobs.

“As a unit, I do believe that we’ve seen the worst of this bullpen. Because remember, guys want to keep jobs, too. And guys want to stay in the big leagues. And they know there’s a date coming up in which they don’t want to be the odd man out.”

Mota has been with the Dodgers since the beginning of last season after spending the previous 20 years with the Angels.

As the Dodgers start a new series in Colorado on Tuesday, their bullpen will look to continue its hot streak in a tough place to pitch.

Coors Field has yielded the most runs in the league over the past three years.
