Dodgers Injury News: Gavin Lux Posts Video On Road to Recovery

Great news for Lux!

The Dodgers have been no stranger to the injury bug this season. It started out in Spring Training and has carried over into the season. One of the main players on the roster that got hurt was infielder Gavin Lux. Lux blew out his knee during the start of Spring Training and tore his ACL and LCL.

The long road back for Lux started shortly after as he had surgery to repair the injury and recently Lux provided us with a video of himself running to show his progress.

Losing Lux for the season was a big blow to the Dodgers roster as he was scheduled to become the teams everyday shortstop. He was a big reason as to why they let Trea Turner leave during the offseason and it was just an all around sad moment for the team.

Last year, Lux hit 276 with six home runs and 42 runs batted in over 129 games. He was coming into his own and the team finally felt comfortable enough to give him a large enough role to show what he could do over the course of a full season.

This is positive news for the Dodgers and Lux as he makes his recovery. He is expected to be back to full strength by the start of Spring Training next year and we all hope that we get to see him come back stronger from this.
