Dodgers Minor-League Pitcher Posts Cryptic Message Seemingly Shading NL West Rival

The rivalry seems to be alive and well.

Dodgers minor-league pitcher Nabil Crismatt seemed to throw some shade toward the rival San Diego Padres with his most recent social media post. Crismatt posted a picture with the caption, "Nice to be in blue now.", seemingly referencing being with Los Angeles.

The right-hander signed a minor-league deal with the Dodgers in early December. He provides the team with another potential option in the bullpen down the line if he can perform.

Crismatt spent time with the Padres up until mid-season last year, when the team designated him for assignment. He then joined the Arizona Diamondbacks, making one appearance for them.

He posted an ERA of 9.82 in 11 innings with San Diego this past season but did throw two scoreless innings during his time with Arizona. If anything, the Dodgers can see what they have in Crismatt this year and then go from there.

This post may have nothing to do with San Diego, but it's a little suspicious. The rivalry between the two teams is very much alive and well, making for a great series when they play each other this season.

Both teams start the new year in a few weeks, when the Seoul Series kicks off on March 20 and March 21.
