Dodgers News: Clayton Kershaw Dodges Questions Regarding Future in MLB

The end of an era?

Following your Dodgers' 4-2 Game 3 loss at the hands of the Arizona Diamondbacks, another Dodgers season is in the books.

While this season can be marred by disappointment, especially given the postseason outcome, there's a more significant storyline that's worth writing home about as the offseason looms.

Longtime Dodgers superstar Clayton Kershaw is mulling retirement, but has a number of factors to consider.

Per Noah Camras' tweet, Kershaw's "not sure" about how he plans to approach the offseason, and a big aspect to consider was how his season (and thus career) would've ended.

Kershaw trotted out in Game 1, where he was absolutely abysmal. The southpaw ceded 6 runs on 6 hits while giving up a walk and striking out no batters amidst recording one out, which happened to be on a well-hit ball.

Kersh clearly feels guilty about his performance, but mentions the poor outing as "ultimately not important."

To that end, plenty is bound to be factored into Kershaw's decision, including a shoulder injury he dealt with towards the end of the season.

Regardless of the direction he ends up going in, this is one of the top Dodgers storylines to follow entering the offseason, and could truly signify the end of an era.
