Tommy Pham is moving to his second NL West team in the last five years. Jeff Passan reported that Pham is on his way out of the New York Mets clubhouse and heading to the desert.

The 35-year-old outfielder played in the NL West spending two seasons with the San Diego Padres, before hopping around the league on now four different teams in the last two years.

The veteran Pham has had a little resurgence at the plate, hitting .268 with 10 home runs in limited at-bats with the Mets this year.

With a recent trade for Paul Sewald, the Diamondbacks are all in, looking to compete for not just a playoff spot but for the NL West title. Sitting at 57-50, the team is only 3.5 games back from the NL West lead.

Moves being made by the Arizona clubhouse and players invoking their trade clauses to the Dodgers, the Diamondbacks are winning the trade deadline in the NL West and possibly pushing to be NL West favorites come the end of the regular season.
