Dodgers News: MLB Pipeline Reveals Updated Dodgers List of Top 30 Prospects

LA has a list of prospects who could eventually become key contributors at the big-league level.

When it comes to young talent, the Dodgers have a track record of developing players and maximizing their potential. As we enter the 2023 season, the Dodgers have a deep and talented pool of prospects in their system.

MLB Pipeline recently updated its list of the top 30 prospects in the Dodgers organization, and there are several names on the list who could make an impact at the major league level in the near future.

For starters, Diego Cartaya is LA’s number one prospect and fourteenth-best prospect in the MLB, so many fans are expecting to see a lot from the catcher. He leads the pack of talent with other promising players including Bobby Miller (MLB No. 24), Miguel Vargas (MLB No. 37), Michael Busch (MLB No. 54), and Gavin Stone (MLB No. 56).

Pitcher Ryan Pepiot is listed at number six with catcher Dalton Rushing at number eight, then James Outman and Nick Nastrini with the last two slots in the top 10.

Pepiot had a crack at the big leagues last year as he started in nine games, but will work his way into LA’s rotation this season.

Other players including Cartaya, Miller, Vargas, Busch, and Stone have all garnered much attention from what they have shown in the minors thus far.

Vargas is one player out of these top prospects who the Dodgers are looking to take full advantage of this upcoming season.

All of the players within the farm system will work to keep everyone’s radar on them.

These young guys have all the potential to thrive with strong performances this season.

With a blend of top-tier veterans and depth throughout the organization, the Dodgers will continue to be a force.
