Dodgers News: This Fan-Made Gavin Lux Sign is Sure to Tug At Your Heartstrings

As he endures his healing process, Lux has shared his appreciation for the LA fanbase.

Many fans and players have shown unwavering support toward Gavin Lux as he sits out this upcoming season with an ACL injury.

When the Dodgers went up against the Angels in Tempe, Arizona on Friday, one young fan, in particular, showed up to the game with a sign that read: “Get well soon, Gavin,” from Gavin’s #1 fan.

The entire Dodgers fanbase shares the same sentiment, as the organization was initially gearing up to have Lux take over the shortstop position this season. There was a lot in store for the 25-year-old, but he now must fight through his recovery process to ensure a smooth return to the field.

Lux has shared his appreciation for his teammates and fans that continue to show love during this devastating time period. At Camelback Ranch earlier this week, Lux spoke to Doug McKain of Dodgers Nation and reacted to the support he has received thus far.

“Yeah, Dodgers fans. I felt pretty much all the love and support last night, this morning. Best fan base in the world. Can’t thank them enough for all the love and support. I really appreciate it.”

It has been reported that Lux will undergo his surgery on March 7th in Los Angeles with the team surgeon Dr. Neal El Attrache. We continue to wish Lux a safe and healthy road to recovery.
