Things aren't going well for the Dodgers early in Saturday's game. Through four innings, the Dodgers trail 4-1 in a game they probably feel like they should be winning.

Michael Grove has looked really sharp in his return to the mound, making just two mistakes. However, Jake Bauers has made him pay for both those mistakes, hitting multiple two-run home runs to give the Yankees the lead.

The Dodgers had a great opportunity to get some runs back in the bottom of the fourth inning, with runners on first and second and nobody out. J.D. Martinez flied out to center field, moving Will Smith over to third with just one out. Then, it was Jason Heyward's turn to do some damage, but he was unable to come through.

Heyward popped out to the third base side in foul ground, making the second out of the inning without bringing Smith home.

Heyward was not very happy with himself after missing a prime opportunity to bring a runner home. He decided to take it out on his bat.

The pure strength it takes to break a wooden bat on your leg is unfathomable, and Heyward seemed to do it with ease. If that doesn't show how strong he is, then I don't know what will.

Unfortunately, the Dodgers weren't able to cash in during the fourth inning, but they should have a few more opportunities to eat into the Yankees' three-run lead. Heyward should get another couple opportunities at the plate today, so let's hope he comes through, or the bats at Dodger Stadium could be in serious trouble.
