Dodgers Postgame: Home Runs Power Dodgers Past Athletics

That funky Muncy.

A couple of home runs for the Los Angeles Dodgers led to a 4-2 win over the visiting Oakland Athletics at Camelback Ranch on Sunday afternoon.

James Outman's solo home run in the second inning gave the Dodgers an early lead and a fourth-inning two-run shot from Max Muncy made it 3-0.

An RBI single from Travis Swaggerty in the sixth pushed the lead to 4-0, and then Oakland got two runs back in the seventh.

Dodger pitching outside of the sixth inning shut down the A's offense.

Kyle Hurt allowed one hit and one walk in his first start, and Evan Phillips earned the win with a solid second inning.

However, Ryan Brasier was the most impressive. He struck out the side in his first Cactus League inning this spring.

Here are some highlights from Sunday's game:

The Dodgers remain unbeaten through four games with a record of 3-0-1 and will travel to Salt River Fields on Monday afternoon for a game against the Colorado Rockies at 12:10 PT.
