Rich Hill has been in the majors it seems like forever. He's a great player to run on Immaculate Grid because he's played for 13 different teams in his 19 year career. As of late, he seems to be settling in nicely as an arm that will get you a couple innings every fifth day.

So why would the Dodgers want to bring him back?

Well, LA has been all about reunions this trade deadline season. They brought back two fan favorites in Kiké Hernandez and Joe Kelly, why wouldn't they want to try and bring back another familiar face within a position of need.

Here's how Bleacher Report's Kerry Miller sees it:

"The 43-year-old southpaw hasn’t pitched particularly well, saddled with a 4.82 ERA. But, hey, at least he hasn’t missed a start and has gone at least 3.2 innings in each of his 21 appearances. That level of durability would be a breath of fresh air in this year’s Dodgers rotation, where no one has started more than 16 games to date."

While yes, Hill is 43, and therefore won't be around for the long haul, giving up Wrobleski, who's the Dodgers' No. 26 prospect according to MLB.com might not be a bad idea.

The Dodgers pitching staff is young as it is, and there are some exciting names coming up through the minors. Wrobleski could simply just be used as a name to get Hill back to LA.

Especially in a 1 for 1 trade, I think LA would benefit from having a veteran presence like Hill back in the rotation. He could serve as a mentor for the young arms, and he could provide a consistent couple innings every fifth day.

Do you think the Dodgers should take a flyer on the aging veteran?
