Dodgers Star Mookie Betts Reportedly Buys New Los Angeles Mansion

This is a beautiful home...

While he might not have Shohei Ohtani's paycheck (who does?), Mookie Betts is doing just fine for himself.

The 31-year-old infielder/outfielder is in the midst of a 12-year, $365 million contract. Originally from Nashville, the thought was that Betts and his family would plant roots in his new home.

According to multiple reports, this thought is now a reality.

As reported by TMZ Sports and Robb Report's James McClain, Betts has secured the purchase of a 9,300-square-foot home in the Los Angeles neighborhood of Encino. Encino, known as the location of Cobra Kai and the birthplace of 'Valley Girl' lingo, is roughly 25 miles from Dodger Stadium.

This is the second home Betts has purchased in the area. Originally, he bought his first L.A. estate from current UCLA head coach Chip Kelly. That home is reportedly on the market with a price tag of $8.5 million.

The new home Betts has secured is nothing short of sensational. If the seven-time All-Star wants to entertain, he'll have no shortage of space. The Mediterranean-style property has eight bedrooms, 10-and-a-half bathrooms, and more than two acres of land.

From a security standpoint, this home not only has a 24-hour armed security guard but also a shack for the guard. It also has a full-sized tennis court among its many amenities.

We aren't sure if Betts will be the host of any future parties. There's no word on what sort of estate Ohtani may or may not purchase. Regardless, based on the immaculate description of Betts' new home, we wouldn't be shocked if it quickly became a favorite spot for some of his teammates.
