After a short stint with the Dodgers in 2021, a former outfielder is looking for a job after opting out of a contract with the Texas Rangers.

Yoshi Tsutsugo opted out of his minor league contract with the AL West's top team after signing with them in the offseason.

Tsutsugo's time with the Dodgers was one of three stops the Japanese product took during the 2021 season. Tsutsugo spent parts of the season with the Pirates and Rays.

In the 12 games that Tsutsugo played with the Dodgers, he only recorded three hits and had a low OPS at .410.

This year in Triple-A Round Rock, Tsutsugo played 51 games and had an average of .249. He also slugged six home runs and 33 RBIs.

Now that Tsutsugo is out of a job, and the Dodgers signing a lot of veteran outfielders to minor league contracts recently, there could be a chance the Tsutsugo could make a reunion in the Los Angeles organization.
