Your Dodgers took 2 out of 3 games from the Padres in San Diego and all is right in the world! The only thing the Padres have going for them at the moment is winning the "most viral team award" from the series, an award that doesn't exist.

Thankfully we can boast now as it was looking like a very different outcome was coming on Sunday night with the Dodgers down a run with 2 outs in the ninth inning. Thankfully Mookie Betts took Josh Hader deep to tie the game and eventually send us to extra innings for the LA rookies to put on a display.

The 10th inning opened with Freddie Freeman on second base as the ghost runner. Will Smith moved him over to third base with one out before Max Muncy struck out. With two outs, rookie infielder Michael Busch -- who hasn't played in about a week -- got the clutch RBI single to left field to give the Dodgers the lead.

Fellow rookie James Outman added the insurance with his 8th home run of the season and first in more than two weeks.

The whole game was broken down in Doug McKain's live postgame show on DodgersNationTV.
