The Cleveland Guardians have played their fair share of extra-inning games throughout the first three series of the 2023 MLB season. However, none of them went on long as their showdown in the series finale against the Seattle Mariners on Sunday afternoon.

Seattle looked as if they had the game locked up until Will Brennan smoked a game-tying double in the bottom of the ninth. The two teams then went back and forth in extra innings until Josh Bell finished the game in the bottom of the 12th.

It wasn't a hard-hit Josh Bell single that we all know and love, but put the ball in play and good things will happen and that's exactly what Bell did here.

Bell deserves the credit for forcing Seattle's defense to make a play, but Jose Ramirez deserves just as much recognition for his incredible base running. That was a risky move to book it home on a weekly hit ground ball.

But Jose never hesitated and scored the winning run.

Cleveland clinches the season series over the Mariners with this win and also finally gets their first win at Progressive Field in 2023.
