The Denver Nuggets have failed to repeat their championship success in the last few seasons, but still have the best basketball player on the planet in Nikola Jokic, in the least making them a contender. 

The franchise has done a good job in recent years in adding contributors like Christian Braun, Julian Strawther and DaRon Holmes II via later selections. But their unprotected firsts could also be vital to adding even more talent around Jokic, Jamal Murray, Aaron Gordon, Cam Johnson and more.
