The Orlando Magic are one of the NBA's top up-and-coming teams.

Prior to their offseason splash, Orlando owned a core that was largely built through the draft with top pick Paolo Banchero, scoring forward Franz Wagner and two-way guard Jalen Suggs. In the offseason, though, the Magic opted to push their chips in to acquire former Grizzlies standout Desmond Bane.

The price to nab Bane certainly wasn't cheap, though he seems to be the perfect fit on the wing on both ends for the surging Magic.
