NBA Reverse Standings: Detroit Pistons Nab Top 2024 Draft Odds

The 2023-24 NBA regular season wrapped up Sunday, with the bottom of the league cementing their 2024 NBA Draft odds.

The 2023-24 NBA regular season came to a wild conclusion on Sunday, with all 30 teams facing off in an exhilarating 15-game slate that shifted the standings dramatically.

While some were pushing for better seeding in respective Playoffs or Play-In standings, others were likely hoping to nab even better NBA Draft odds.

No one had a better day in that regard than the Pistons, who suffered a 123-95 loss to the Spurs to again nab the top odds at landing the No. 1 pick in the draft. Detroit finished with just one less win than the Wizards, a small consolation after one of the most deflating seasons in their franchise’s history.

On the flip side, the win boosted San Antonio — who has largely functioned as one of the worse teams on the season — to the fifth-best odds, above both Charlotte and Portland, who are tied for third and fourth. The Spurs don’t mind, though, with Victor Wembanyama set to lead their franchise for the foreseeable future.

From there, the Raptors grabbed the sixth-best odds, the Grizzlies the seventh, the Jazz the eighth, the Nets the ninth and the Rockets the twelfth-best odds.

The remaining four teams will be losers of the East and West Play-In games, which features the Heat, 76ers, Hawks, Bulls, Warriors, Kings, Pelicans and Lakers.

The 2024 NBA Draft Lottery kicks off on Sunday, May 12.
