Suns Say Kevin Durant Will Return on Wednesday

In this story:
It's nearly time.
Phoenix Suns forward Kevin Durant hasn't played since Jan. 8 after spraining his MCL. His time with the Brooklyn Nets quickly concluded after and soon, he found himself in the desert.
Now, championship expectations are undoubtedly real here in the Valley, and with 20 games remaining until the postseason is slated to begin, the Suns are expected to finally see their new acquisition take the court when they battle the Charlotte Hornets on Wednesday.

Durant was always going to be out prior to the NBA's All-Star break with the MCL injury, yet there was some hope that he would have returned last Friday against the Oklahoma City Thunder. ESPN grabbed the game and the league pushed the start time back an hour, though Durant didn't play then or in Sunday's loss to the Milwaukee Bucks.
Kevin Durant is expected to make his Phoenix Suns debut tomorrow in Charlotte.

Durant - widely considered to be one of the best players in NBA history - arrived to a Suns lineup that features Chris Paul, Devin Booker and Deandre Ayton in the mix. Phoenix is currently the No. 4 seed in the West with a 33-29 record.
