• Per Phenom Hoop Report, consensus 4-star power forward Keon Ambrose-Hylton has Alabama in his final five schools: “Head coach Nate Oats had a great couple of seasons at Buffalo. Another high energy, fast pace, good transition. They use their wings well. Looking forward to having more talks with Coach Oats on my development.” His official visit is set for Oct. 21-23.

• Ryan Kelly to Colts.com on why he chose Alabama as a recruit: “Out of the five schools I was evaluating, it was the one school that never promised me anything. Everybody else, they’d promise you to start right away or a bunch of other empty promises. I just never felt comfortable with any coach the way I did with Coach Saban.”
