Today's Crimson Tide Schedule:

Crimson Tide Results:

Volleyball: South Carolina def. Alabama, 25-21, 25-17, 14-25 and 25-19. Both Kendyl Reaugh and Alyiah Wells tallied their 900th career kills in the match, including a career-best 22 from Reaugh.

Did You Notice?

  • Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa had nothing but praise for former teammate Jalen Hurts ahead of their matchup on Sunday night.
  • Sticking with the Dolphins, Tagovailoa leads the NFL in passing yards through the season's first six weeks.
  • DeVonta Smith missed practice with the Eagles on Wednesday with a hamstring injury, while cornerback Eli Ricks was a full participant after exiting Sunday's game with a knee injury. Meanwhile, there's the "new" guy on the team, who told Philadelphia reporters that he's far from done in the NFL.
  • Donta Hall went up for the slam for the AS Monaco Basket.

On This Day in Crimson Tide History:

October 19, 1935: Playing with a broken bone in his left leg, Paul Bryant starred in Alabama's 25-0 win at Tennessee. The Atlanta newspapers doubting the story of the injury requested to review x-rays, which indeed revealed a broken fibula, before using the account of Bryant's handicap in its features on the game. Alabama's first touchdown came on a pass to Bryant who then lateralled to Riley Smith. A key block by Bryant after the pitch to Smith enabled him to score.

Crimson Tide Quote of the Day:

"It was just one little bone." – Paul W. “Bear” Bryant on playing with a fractured leg against Tennessee in 1935.
