Live Updates: No. 11 Alabama Softball vs. Indiana State

It's been a strong week for the No. 11 Alabama softball team. After finally ending a six-game losing streak against Florida State in the TaxAct Clearwater Invitational, the Crimson Tide has rolled through the Bama Bash this week, defeating Kennesaw State and Southeastern Louisiana.
Head coach Patrick Murphy celebrated a milestone Wednesday, picking up win No. 1,200. Murphy is the ninth head coach in NCAA history to earn 1,200 wins at one Div. I program and is the only coach with over 1,000 wins entirely at an SEC institution. Seventeen other head coaches have surpassed the 1,200 win mark, with 11 others doing so entirely at the Div. I level.
The Crimson Tide aims to keep the momentum going with a matchup against Indiana State on Day 2 of the Bash.
Alex Slater gets the start in the circle for Alabama. She's appeared in three games with a 1-0 record and a 2.52 ERA.
First pitch is scheduled for 11 a.m.
Leading the way for Alabama's offense is Ally Shipman with a .419 average on 13 hits with seen doubles and 11 RBIs. Freshman Kenleigh Cahalan has started all 11 games. The shortstop is hitting .394 with 12 runs scored, 13 hits and six stolen bases.
