Alabama has already secured the series against Ole Miss with Montana Fouts' perfect game Friday night, Jenna Johnson's go-ahead home run in the seventh inning Saturday afternoon, but now the Crimson Tide has the opportunity at its second sweep in SEC play this season Sunday afternoon in Oxford.

Depending on the rest of the results around the SEC, a top-four seed and double-bye in the SEC Tournament is still a possibility for Alabama as well.

With Fouts starting the first two games of the series, one of the Crimson Tide's other pitchers will have to step up for the Sunday start. Alabama has only won two SEC games this season not started by Fouts, and Alex Salter was the winning pitcher in both of those games against Tennessee and Mississippi State. The series at Mississippi State is the only other time Alabama has swept an opponent this season.

Salter (6-3, 2.17 ERA) gets the start for the Crimson Tide on Sunday in the final game of the regular season. For the second straight game, freshman Marlie Giles starts at catcher. After a strong weekend at the plate with hits over the first two games, freshman Larissa Preuitt has moved up to the two-spot in the lineup.

First pitch for the series finale between Alabama (38-16, 14-9 SEC) at Ole Miss (28-25, 7-16 SEC) is scheduled for 1 p.m., and the game can be streamed on SEC Network+.
