It's a happy Friday as we head into Memorial Day weekend. The Joe Gaither Show kicked off by celebrating Alabama baseball's SEC Tournament win over the Auburn Tigers on Thursday night.

The Tide's Thursday win served three purposes. First, it's always fun to beat the Tigers and eliminate them from the SEC Tournament, Alabama was able to win three-out-of-four contests against Auburn this year. Second, Alabama can now feel confident that post-season baseball will be played in Tuscaloosa next week and finally, of course, the Tide stays alive in the losers bracket of the SEC Tournament.

Gaither then switched to the softball side of things and discussed several of Katie Windham's talking points from her visit on Thursday. Windham pointed out Northwestern's penchant for playing low scoring games, the Alabama offense will have to be dialed in to propel the team to Oklahoma City next week.

NFL off season team actives have started up this week, giving fans a chance to hear from some of their favorite players at the microphone. Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver DeVonta Smith spent time at the podium this week and talked about the upcoming season, including his diet and how he feels about the team earning a Georgia Bulldog reputation.

Gaither breaks down the exact number of Alabama players and Georgia players on the Eagles roster. Is their Georgia reputation fair?

We wrap up the show with a tweet from former Alabama superstar Terrell Lewis. Lewis takes to social media to ask where the Alabama 30 for 30 documentary is.

The Tide has certainly earned documentary status throughout the Nick Saban era of college football, but is it the right time to start that process? The Miami Hurricanes football prominence was featured in two separate 30 for 30s, does this Alabama dynasty garner three or four parts?
