The Denver Broncos have not had the best of luck when it comes to injuries, especially at the wide receiver position. During training camp last season, wide receiver Tim Patrick tore his ACL. During this year's training camp, Patrick tore his Achilles tendon, meaning he will also miss the entirety of the 2023 season.

Now, former Alabama wide receiver Jerry Jeudy is dealing with an injury, as he was carted off the field during Thursday's practice. Jeudy was seen grabbing his right leg as he took the cart back into the training facility.

Jeudy is reported to have suffered a hamstring injury, although the severity is unknown. He is planning to have an MRI to determine the severity, per head coach Sean Payton.

The receiver is listed as a starter on the Broncos roster and has been since his rookie season. He is coming off his best year in the NFL, with 972 receiving yards and six touchdowns. The Broncos picked up Jeudy's fifth-year option, locking him in with Denver past the 2023 season, earning $12 million in 2024.

During his time at Alabama, Jeudy started two seasons, with over 1,000 yards receiving both seasons and ten touchdowns in both years, earning Jeudy a first-round pick during the 2020 NFL Draft.

Jeudy is expected to miss "several weeks" with a moderate hamstring injury, per Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero. The injury will bring Jeudy's status for week 1 into question, but the Broncos are optimistic that it is not a long-term injury concern for him.
