The college football transfer portal window opened last Monday, Dec. 4 as the regular season came to a conclusion.

Thus far the Crimson Tide has seen five players enter the portal, but have yet to see any incoming movement. The minimal movement is likely due to Alabama's place in the College Football Playoff, things may change once the Tide's season's has fully concluded.

However, 247 reports that Texas A&M transfer Fadil Diggs is taking a visit to Tuscaloosa as the Tide is one of his top options. Diggs will be visiting the Capstone on Friday, Dec. 15 and then will head to Syracuse to visit the Orange on Saturday, Dec. 16.

Diggs, a 6-foot-5 260 pound defensive lineman out of East Camden, N.J., just wrapped up his redshirt junior year with the Aggies. The former 4-star recruit was a tight end prospect in the 2020 class, he transitioned to defensive line and appeared in 25 games for Texas A&M over the last four years. He'll have his redshirt senior year and a COVID-19 season, giving him two more years to contribute,

He tallied 75 total tackles with 18.5 for a loss with eight sacks in total, but saw the most playing time this past season with 36 tackles, 11 for a loss with four sacks.

The lineman was a factor in the Tide's most recent matchup with the Aggies. Diggs sacked Jalen Milroe twice and had five total tackles.

Diggs jumped in the transfer portal after the season as the Aggies are in a period of transition, working in new head football coach Mike Elko.

He'd become the Alabama's first incoming transfer if he were to decide to join the Tide. The Crimson Tide currently has 21 members of the 2024 class, leaving head coach Nick Saban with leeway in the transfer portal to accept talented players.
