Where Does Alabama Football Rank in Newest AP, Coaches Poll?

The Alabama Crimson Tide football program enjoyed a much needed off week after navigating the first eight weeks with a 7-1 record. The Crimson Tide has a huge week ahead with the LSU Tigers on deck and the first week of the College Football Playoff rankings being released.
Alabama stayed put in the newest edition of the US LBM Coaches Poll maintaining its status at No. 8. The Tide moved up one spot in the AP Top 25 Poll and is now also ranked No. 8.
There are six SEC schools ranked in both polls this week and the Crimson Tide is the third-highest ranked one loss team in both polls.
The first College Football Playoff Poll will be released on Tuesday evening.
