Rico Scott's list of potential programs is down to six, and Alabama football is one of them.

Scott, a native of Harrisburg, Pa., plays wide receiver for Bishop McDevitt High School. He is a consensus 4-star prospect, the No. 55 wide receiver in the 2024 class and the No. 12 player in the state of Pennsylvania.

In addition to Alabama, the 6-foot, 185-pound Scott also listed Georgia, Tennessee, Texas A&M, Penn State and Colorado among his final choices.

Speed is a strong factor for Scott's success, but what's more impressive is his ability to take contact and continue running after the catch. He is not easily wavered by light contact; it will likely take a legitimate tackle to bring him down on the first try.

Scott is also good at identifying holes to run through and accelerating through them.

Usually, one factor that can help determine the amount of interest in a recruit is whether or not a visit has taken place. Scott has visited Penn State twice and Texas A&M once. Not only has he not visited Alabama, the offer from the Crimson Tide only came on March 4.

Still, the fact that Scott included Alabama in his top six after only receiving the offer less than three weeks ago is a strong indication that he holds the program in high regard.
