This upcoming weekend Alabama football is set to host multiple top recruits in the 2024 class on campus as head coach Nick Saban and the Crimson Tide gear up for another calendar year of recruiting.

One of those recruits is wide receiver Koby Young, a native of New Orleans who plays for in-state Holy Cross High School. Young is the No. 1 wide receiver and No. 7 overall prospect to come out of his state this recruiting cycle.

When Young was asked about if he was excited for his upcoming visit to Alabama, his answer was a resounding yes.

"Most definitely," Young told BamaCentral in an exclusive interview. "I feel like Coach Saban is one of the greatest coaches of all-time. I'm excited to go see what they're about, because obviously they are doing something right."

Young is also impressed with Saban being one of the winningest coaches in college football history along with producing four Heisman Trophy winners: Mark Ingram II, Derrick Henry, DeVonta Smith and Bryce Young.

As far as particulars go, Young simply wants to see the Crimson Tide's campus and get a firsthand experience on how the program operates.

Being from Louisiana, Young also got to see the Crimson Tide in action during the Sugar Bowl as well as exchange words with wide receiver coach Holmon Wiggins.

"It was cool," Young said regarding his talk with Wiggins. "We chopped it up and he was very embracing. Definitely felt his love."

Young also mentioned that he is communicating with other programs and is primarily building relationships as he looks for a program at the next level.
