The University of Alabama will be hosting 4-star linebacker Jordan Lockhart, an Ole Miss commit, on March 4 and Jerrick Gibson, the nation's top-ranked running back, on June 9.

Jordan Lockhart

The 6-foot-3, 230-pound prospect out of St. John Bosco High School, in Bellflower, Calif., is ranked as the consensus No. 32 linebacker in the nation and No. 28 junior in the state, per On3 Recruiting.

Lockhart will be joining several other members of his class in Tuscaloosa, Ala., for Junior Day on March 4. However, he's currently committed to Ole Miss.

Lockhart is listed as a linebacker, but according to his highlights, he predominantly lines up as an edge rusher. Lockhart's main priority is to blitz, but he also excels at dropping into coverage.

Lockhart doesn't necessarily play man defense, but he has the speed to keep up with pass-catchers and hits them with extreme force when he makes contact.

His speed and aggressive playstyle also works on on the line of scrimmage. Simply put, if the running back is headed towards Lockhart regardless of if he's being doubled, he will bring him down.

According to 247 Sports, Lockhart committed to Ole Miss on Jan. 16, 2022, but he received an offer from the Crimson Tide on June 8, the same day he attended their camp. He also unofficially visited Alabama on Oct. 22.

Jerrick Gibson

The 5-foot-10, 195-pound prospect out of IMG Academy, in Bradenton, Fla., is ranked as the consensus No. 1 running back and No. 19 junior in the nation, per On3 Recruiting.

Gibson has had many schools on his radar for a while, but he's mapped out four final official visits to Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee and Texas, per 247Sports. Gibson will likely travel to Tuscaloosa on June 9.

His 3-minute highlight reel is all you need to understand why he represents all junior running backs. He's fast, breaks the first tackle, gets loose on wheel routes, perfectly reads gaps and cuts as well as any D-I running back.

Gibson's tour will begin on June 2 and end on the weekend of June 24. Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee and Texas have over three months to practice a top-tier recruiting pitch.
