Alabama football may be adding another quarterback prospect to its 2024 recruiting class, and his name is Prentiss "Air" Noland.

Noland, a native of Fairburn, Ga., is a 4-star recruit who plays for Langston Hughes High School. He is the No. 8 quarterback prospect in the 2024 class and the No. 12 player in the state of Georgia.

In addition to Alabama, Noland is also considering Miami, Ohio State, Texas A&M, Oregon, Arkansas and Clemson.

Noland has also announced that he will make his decision on April 8.

When watching the tape, the first thing that pops out about the lefty quarterback is his quick release. It is a razor-sharp motion that is accurate on multiple levels. Noland is also adept at using his legs and making plays on the ground.

Noland is listed at 6 feet, 3 inches but others have him listed an inch shorter. Whichever height is accurate, his size is slightly below average compared to other quarterbacks. He would also need time to develop to deal with the day-to-day grind of Power 5 football.

His potential commitment could provide an interesting dynamic as Alabama already has a verbal commitment from 2024 quarterback Julian Sayin. The Crimson Tide's quarterback room is already crowded as Jalen Milroe and Ty Simpson are fighting for the starting quarterback position, not to mention freshmen Eli Holstein and Dylan Lonergan. By the time Noland's high school career is over, he might be competing with four other guys in Tuscaloosa.

Still, Noland visited Alabama during Junior Day in January, and he most recently visited Clemson. Either way, the answer will be revealed in two weeks.
