Since the month of July has started, the University of Alabama has been on a recruiting heater, landing elite, four-star defensive end Dallas Turner, four-star linebacker Kendrick Blackshire, and three-star athlete Kadarius Calloway, all of whom are Sports Illustrated All-American candidates.

Though, this upcoming weekend could see the Crimson Tide inch closer and closer to the top of recruiting rankings.

Specially, three of Alabama's top offensive line targets are set to make decisions over the coming days. The Brockermeyer twins, five-star offensive tackle Tommy and four-star center James, will announce on Friday and four-star offensive guard Terrence Ferguson will do the same on Sunday afternoon.

Tommy has a final five consisting of the Crimson Tide, Texas, Auburn, LSU, and Clemson, while James is down to the same schools minus Clemson.

Adding Tommy, would give Alabama another bookend to build the foundation of its offensive line to go along with five-star prospect JC Latham, who committed to the Crimson Tide back in June.

On the other hand, James, another SI All-American candidate, is a pure center, whose technical skills are masterclass and who brings an edge and toughness every snap.

Ferguson, who stands at 6-foot-5 and 300 pounds, is a prospect who is very versatile, playing every position on the line if needed - tackle, guard, and, potentially, center, as well. It has been a battle of SEC powers, Alabama and Georgia, with Florida State in the mix, too for his services.

If the Crimson Tide staff is able to land these three players over the weekend, SI All-American analyst John Garcia Jr. believes this group, together, would be the clear cut No. 1 position group in the country, given the difficult of it all.

"That group would be about as good, if not better, than any other offensive line group in the country," Garcia said. "If Alabama is able to land these guys, I think the most impressive part about it, would be going where they had to go to get them. Think about it, if COVID does not happen, JC Latham is going to Ohio State. The Brockermeyer brothers are Texas legacies, and Terrence Ferguson is right in Georgia and Kirby Smart's backyard.

"If Alabama pulls it off, it would give them the best o-line class in the country."

SI All-American analyst Edwin Weathersby II says a talented group like that would give Crimson Tide fans shades of the program's 2014 signing class, that was headlined by linemen like Cam Robinson, Ross Pierschbacher, and Dominick Jackson.

"It would be very reminiscent of that '14 class," Weathersby said. "That year Alabama was able to go and get Cam Robinson out of LSU's backyard, and go up to Iowa and get Pierschbacher, then they added some elite level o-linemen, who ultimately went on to help them continue their run of success in the SEC."
